Nethqadash shmakh

Neeta kidah-Shushemach

Hallowed be thy name

nithqadash shmakh - Something becomes sacred when a space is made for it and it is deliberately given that purpose, we are preparing the soil to make a fertile field. This line calls us to make space for wholeness in our mind, heart and body. The body itself is the temple of the living spirit. Renewal occurs when we chose to carve new space within the inner temple of our body, making a home for the whole person, to realign with Divine wisdom and be guided. By honouring the divinity of all life we enfold that which we would deny, we bring healing to those aspects of ourself that have been seeking our hearts embrace. We are the candle spirit is the flame.

The Aramaic Lords Prayer

Teytey malkuthakh

Tey tey malkoothah

Thy kingdom come

taythey — means come, not from ahead or behind but gathering in this very moment, ecstatic union, community, spiritual family, lovers, the immediate present experience, turning about to universal consciousness here and now.

malkuthakh — the queendom, the great mother or nature. Everywhere in nature life is birthed, She is the fertile field with which all possibilities can be birthed. She is life itself manifest in every living thing. The birthing seed, the fertile soil, the life giving plant, all returning to the mother to be reborn. She is Sophia, Divine wisdom, the open heart of compassion, the Divine embrace; she is the destroyer of illusion. She is all possibility and the waiting womb. We are divine creation and fulfilment of our creative visions, abundance and success, when in alignment with the ruling principles of Divinity is actually the desire of Shem through us. The “I can” that lifts us to action toward unity. We align now with the true wisdom in co-creation.

Washboqlan khaubayn aykanna daph khnan shbwoqan l’khayyabayn

B’wash woklahn howbane ikanah duphanahn shwahkin al higha bane (phonetic)

And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors or
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us
(English translation)

washboqlan - return to an original or primal state of existence. To embrace with emptiness our original state of being that which is innocent, unburdened, we are asked to embody the powerful understanding of forgiveness, illuminating the truth of all existence. Through forgiveness we untangle the knots of miss-conception and support true healing. Self-forgiveness is a key element in allowance and surrender.

khaubayn - the secret unripe inner fruits which may be negatively affecting the souls ability to live fully. An imperative step on the path to awakening is the deliberate cultivation of the perception of others and ourselves as guiltless, sinless, holy offspring of Divine consciousness, arising and shinning in space by the power of shm.

The Aramaic Lords Prayer

Wela tahlan l’nesyuna Ela patzan min bisha

Olah telarn alnesyonah Ela pasarn min besha (phonetic)

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil (English translation)

wela tahlan - don’t let us enter the world of illusion or falsehood, to be seduced by appearance. This line speaks to the human tendency to become distracted by appearances accepting first impressions, settling for what is shallow. Living in this distracted state allows us to hide from the deep challenges and sometimes painful experiences, sadly it also denies us the opportunity to enjoy the fruitful bounty birthed from the rich soil of our souls growth.

l’nesyuna gives us the picture of the frantic confused undiscipline mind, we are asking to have the clarity to see what is real and not be lost in the egos attempt to get what we mistakenly perceive as missing from our world, but to give freely what is ours to give, love.

nesyuna - forgetfulness, a losing of oneself in false appearances.

ela patzan min bisha - our desire not action from unripeness or inappropriate action, the inner stagnation that prevents us from bearing good fruit. To deliver us from the miss-conceptions that would bring us into falsehood.

patzan is the desire and ability to break the seal that binds us. In Aramaic the recognition that it is not possible to be lead anywhere we do not choose to go creates a very different understanding of 100% self-responsibility, we are not victims of God.
